I have been studying the Course for about 5 years now & never get too far because of the complicated way it is written in the original text (think of the Bible & all those study classes & books). Same difference. Message is great but words are complicated. Pam Grout does it again for me. She simplifies the daily lessons!! Now I start out my morning reading the lesson FIRST in her book, THEN I open the ACIM book for the "detail". PERFECT! I will stick with the lessons now because I don't groan inside trying to understand what Jesus was saying. Like many others, I have tried to get through the original CIM and couldn't finish. Sounded way too much like those catechism classes.....I like Pam's style from her other books, and I think she has done a great job deciphering this overly complicated information in the original book. I am halfway through and will go back and ready every day as it was intended. Great job Pam!
